JURIED ART EXHIBITION APPLICATION
The MOJA Arts Festival: a Celebration of African-American and Caribbean Art, is the City of Charleston’s multi-disciplinary festival which celebrates the rich heritage of African and Caribbean cultures.  MOJA, a Swahili word meaning “One”,  is the appropriate name for this celebration of harmony amongst people.  Most importantly, the MOJA Arts Festival highlights the many African-American and Caribbean contributions to western and world cultures.  Offering theatre, dance, music, visual arts, films and lectures, the MOJA Arts Festival is produced and directed by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs and the all-volunteer MOJA Arts Festival Planning Committee.
